About this Activity

Private group charters are booked by a group (up to 6 people maximum) for the cruise. With this they get a private vessel with a captain. We recommend this for groups of up to 6 people. If you have more than 6 people please reach out to us for accommodations.

Prior to Checkin/Please Bring:

  • Sign all electronic waivers and documents found in your confirmation email
  • This activity takes place in the evening. Please make sure that everyone has cooler weather gear (Jackets, hoodies, Pants, long sleeves, etc…)
  • To make checkin easier, please save your QR Codes to your Google/Apple wallet for easy scanning upon check in
  • Valid ID is required upon check in for the person whose name is on the reservation. Please make sure you have a valid form of ID and the Card you paid with to show upon check in.

Departure will be at our Rental Location on Mission Bay at Paradise Point Resort & Spa directly behind the BareFoot Bar & Grill.

The following is the Ideal Schedule for the Evening.

07:45PM-08:05PM – Checkin and Pre-Boarding Announcements and Photos for All groups. Please be early if you would like to get a photo.

08:05PM-08:15PM – Crew introductions and Safety Information such as Life Jackets and more (All group members must be present as per US Coast Guard regulations and Federal Regulations) Failure to be present will result in delays.

08:15PM – 9:00PM – Bay cruises and captains will give you a small look of Mission Bay as everyone makes there way to the launch spot for the Fireworks.

09:00PM – 09:20PM – Fireworks to be launched from the barge for everyone to enjoy. Make sure you get Photos and Videos and tag Action Sport Rental and Mission Bay Sunset & Fireworks Cruises.

09:20PM – 09:45PM – Each boat will make there way back to Paradise Point for checking back in and enjoy the rest of your night.

Frequently Asked Queshtions

My party is staying at Paradise Point Resort. Can we charge this activity to our room/house account?

Yes, Please reach out to us ASAP. We will need to add a Credit/Debit card on file for your reservation.

*Please note, We will Pre-Authorize the amount of the cruise to the card on file at least 5 days prior to the start of the activity. Once you check in and have paid vai Room/House Account we will remove the pre-authorization from the card on file.

What is the cancellation policy for this activity?

All cancellation notices must be given no later than 15 Days before the start of the activity. Any notices given less than 15 Days will result in no refund. The exception to this is if you purchased our Trip Protection. Please see the section below for more information.

Weather / Rain-Check
If inclement weather results in us canceling a cruise or activity, a full refund will be issued. We will offer this refund via a gift card or a return to the card on file. A Mission Bay Sunset & Fireworks Cruises representative will contact you to ensure the refund is processed.

No-Show
We will not compensate for a no-show of the guests for any reason. No credit, compensation, or reschedule will be offered for a cancellation.

Trip Protection
Parties that purchase Trip Protection can cancel and receive a refund at the amount of the ticket price (minus the Trip Protection Fee and Taxes and Fees) to their payment method on file as long as notice is given no more than 3 Days (72 Hours) before departure of the activity. The notice MUST be submitted using the form at https://missionbaysunset.com/trip-protection-form in the specified time frame. Trip Protection will be refunded only if the activity is canceled by us due to weather or issues on our end.

Can I bring my own food and/or drinks?

Yes, we in fact encourage it. We do not charge a corkage or BYOB fee for our activities.

What if I have more than 6 people in my group?

Please reachout to us for options and we will be happy to walk you through what we can do to accommodate for yoru group.

We have kids and/or an infant in the group. Do they count towards the 6 people maximum?

Yes, per US Coast Guard Regulations we count the number of individual souls onboard the vessel regardless of the size or age of the person.

Can I bring food and drinks onboard the activity vessel?

Yes, but please note GLASS IS NOT ALLOWED ON ANY OF OUR VESSELS FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE ONBOARD. We ask that you please bring items in plastic or metal.

Can we smoke/vape onboard our private cruise?

Yes, please make sure you fully see our Activity Rules and Safety Policies.

*Please note, Mission Bay Sunset & Fireworks Cruises, Action Sport Rentals and Keener Adventures LLC. captains and/or crew all remain within compliance of the United States Coast Guard Zero Tolerance for any Illicit Drugs onboard this activity. Item including but not limited to Marijuana (in any form), Cocaine, Heroin, Etc.. are strictly prohibited and will result in a cancellation of your activity and contact of local law enforcement.
